Day 3 Activities-San Diego 3-Day

Today, we moved a little slower, but with more determination than ever. The 60th mile was only hours away.

We enjoyed Day 3 of our journey, meeting more new people and enjoying the San Diego scenery.

We managed to squeeze in our own kind of pitstop, visiting one of our favorites, Baja Betty's

San Diego 3-Day: Day 2

What an awesome day!

Started with glorious sunshine and was a beautiful day to kick cancer's fandango!
If you were out there, THANKS for coming out to cheer all the walkers.

Today we powered through the Riverbed, had awesome dance stops and pitstops, and met lots of new friends along the way. We also ran into some of our favorite friends from each year, like our favorite Safety Crew gal!

Texas Hold'em FUNdraiser 2011

It was a Texas-sized event with a Texas-sized outcome!
Team Hula Hooters annual Texas Hold'em Fundraising Tourney was hosted by Sarah, Julie and Jenn. The turnout was incredible and everyone had a great time raising money for the CURE!

Who Are We?

Team Hula Hooters:

Cindi, Robin, Sarah, Julie, Brianna, Genie, Jodi, Bicely, Debbie, Alma, Elly, Jenn, Michele, Linda, and Jen G.!

Team Hula Hooters-We are a group of gals with different stories and lives, who have come together for a common goal; We share a passion for finding the cure to breast cancer. Team Hula Hooters walks 60 miles over the course of 3 days every year, helping to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.

Each team member has to raise over $2000, each year, with the team totals reaching over $20,000! And we are not alone. Hundreds of thousands of teams and individuals throw their hats into the fundraising ring for the cause. Team Hula Hooters consists of Walkers, Roadies, and Supporters.

Net proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer 3-Day Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

For the past few years, Team Hula Hooters has had an even more determined purpose, as one of our own, Sarah, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thank God, She BEAT IT with a STICK! Now we walked beside her, with her, and for her, and for our Sisters, Mothers, Daughters, and Friends! We are determined to beat this disease and find a cure. We will continue to walk until a cure is found.

We are lifted up by family and friends and the occasional anonymous donor.

Our Spirits are High, Our Intentions are Pure, Our Mission is NOT IMPOSSIBLE!

We will help find a CURE for breast cancer!
